Pierhouse Palace consists of two houses connected by a bridge. One part of the house is a newly built, with three double rooms each with private bath, living room, and sunset veranda on the first floor and two double rooms each with private bath, living room outdoor sunset veranda and equipped with satellite TV (52 channels) and mini bar. The other part of the house consists of seven double rooms, one master’s bedroom, the bar, the restaurant, the kitchen, food storage room, reception-office, and patio. These parts of the house are mostly new built. It´s changing and has more and more to offer through the years. Pierhouse Palace was a native house from the beginning. The Roberts Family who started the first pearl farm in Busuanga from the late 50´s built the house and one of their pearl farm guards occupied it. Then Andy Pownall came and turned the house into a lodging and dive operation and through the years of travelling Michael Josefsson and friend Jake Nilssen came along. Michael fell inlove with the place, surroundings’, and the whole area and bought it from Andy. Andy Pownall is now the King of Sangat Island Reserve – a successful resort and Michael is turning the pearl farms guardhouse into an operational hotel along with his beach-island property and uphill land in Concepcion Village.

Pierhouse Palace – Concepcion Village in conveniently situated close to countless exotic islands-beaches and Japanese WWII shipwrecks. The inshore water around Concepcion are protected from illegal fishing by the pearl farms based in the area making it a marine life sanctuary. Here amongst the spectacular reefs lay the wrecks of a Japanese Oil Tanker and Flying Boat Tender. These two magnificent wrecks are inhabited by countless varieties of marine life and lay within few minutes away from the Pierhouse Palace. Pierhouse Palace is nestled right in waters edge of Concepcion, where the water is clear and in the front is fantastic reef abundant with a vast of variety of marine life. Concepcion Village is a small sleepy village, in the heart of Busuangas beautiful Gutob Bay. Concepcion is not for the one seeking exciting nightlife, but for the adventurist diver and nature lover who wants to escape from it all.

The Pierhouse Palace is proud to offer diff. choices for individual long stay packages. An extra day or two will certainly help you to recover from any jet lag and will help to relax and refresh you before setting off on explorations around Busuanga. TYPE A, B, C, D Rooms have their own distinctive style, and the space and silence provide guests with the intimacy and comfort. These rooms provide a relaxing environment with panoramic windows looking over the sea. Watch the marvelous sunsets from their outdoor verandas.

Homemade dishes served in an open air atmosphere with a background of calm seas and shining sunsets. If we have the ingredients we will cook what you like, our menu is exclusive but we like to try new things. We offer Filipino, Swedish, English and Indian cuisine, vegetarian is no problem. The house specialty is smoked or broiled Spanish Mackerel Steak (known as Tanigue by the local) with butter and lemon seasoning, and we always have fresh fruits and vegetables.

Bar
All drinks are available but our specialty is the coldest beer on the island. Pierhouse Palace Bar is a place to park in your friends and have fun. Beautiful drift wood and paintings decorate the Bar area and the friendly staff will always be on hand to serve you. After a relaxed peaceful dinner, pass through to the faster pace of the main bar area and let your head down.
